Ted Talks #2
The dream we haven't dared to dream
by: Dan pallotta
In this ted talks, Dan pallotta dares political leaders to dream big, like John. F kennedy did when he asked congress to launch the moon landing. this dare CHALLENGED by dan pallotta can be related to edgar allen poe's "el delrado" whit this statement from the poem," ride, boldly ride, in search for the el delrado. this this all relates to the american dream because, if american dare to dream big like back to the moon landing, then the POTENTIAL for america to become a bigger nation will be incredibly high. He also talks about how many people dream, but in reality EVERYONE is " looking at every name tag to see who can help me chase my dream" each and everyone of us have different dreams that we all want to chase, no matter what. however, Dan challenges us to dream with joy and emotion instead of chasing it for your own personal vendetta. "Imagine living in a world where we simply recognize that deep, existential fear in one another -- and love one another boldly because we know that to be human is to live with that fear." This ted talks is very eye opening and provides a deeper insight on the american dream and how we should follow our dreams with love, not with goals in mind.
